Worst subject for a project!

Alright so today I got assigned a project in one of my classes at school. The course is one of science and at the moment, we are going over infectious diseases. The project is that we are to make a book. Not just any book, a children's book. So I've got my group and we're ready to start research but we still need a subject of research. So guess what happens, we get to draw our subject! Hooray... Normally I'd be pretty happy with this but the results were just awful. Keep in mind that this is supposed to be a book made for young children from ages like 8-12. So anyways, the infectious disease we get to talk about is called:

Cryptosporidiosis

Now, I'll let you look that up on wikipedia or google. Whichever you prefer. I don't really feel I want to talk about it on my blog! Well happy researching!

Oh yeah now I remember!

So for those of you that didn't know, I sorta took a year off last year. Pretty much, I did absolutely nothing... though I'm not too proud to say that. So instead of saying I took a year off to do nothing, I say I took a year off to try to figure out what I wanted in the future. Essentially, what the heck I'm going to try to get a job as. So anyways, during that year I found I was constantly saying, "Man I miss school!". Now that I'm back in school, well I remember why I wasn't the biggest fan. That reason being the homework. It's actually a lot more than I remember. But on the other hand, I didn't really do my homework in High School so that might have something to do with it. Oh well, I still am really enjoying the whole school experience! I'll try to think of more random things to blog about, but... it's harder than I thought... which seems to be a common theme with me!

New School

So, lately I've been thinking about the manner to which I make friends. The reason I started thinking about this is because I'm at a new school, well post-secondary and well, having started a few years after my high school friends, I don't really know anyone there. I find this to be a little troublesome the reason being that it does get a little lonely, I won't lie, I spend a lot of time alone at school. I have been told that I don't really need to make friends, but I disagree, I find friends are nice to have. Though making friends is very challenging since I'm an incredibly shy person in real life! Most of my current friends who are at other schools or I don't get to see often probably know that. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to try to figure out how to not be shy. In the meantime though I think it's going to be a little tough.

On a less depressing note! I'm really liking my new school. It's a very nice school and the teachers are nice and the building itself is quite nice! They have a place for me to workout and such, but I have yet to go... I really should or else my physical condition will get worse than it already is! I'm out of shape... I really need to work on that...

Anyways, if anyone found my last post somewhat... oh I don't know... offensive. I apologize. But I just couldn't help myself!

Strange encounters

So this topic is going to be a little bit uncomfortable... for me at least. Don't really know about you - the person reading this. So I was in the public washroom today, and another guy comes in. Now, just so you don't get any wrong ideas, I did not talk to him nor him to me. No eye contact or anything. Pretty much we both minded our own business. So I was washing my hands and he was using the urinal. Anyways... while washing my hands I suddenly hear the guy grunting. In addition it wasn't quiet, it was loud and very very audible. After hearing him grunt a few times, I left the washroom as quickly as I could.

By the way, just a quick note for you people, when you use the public washrooms. Please, practice good hygiene! Seriously, too many people don't wash their hands... personally I think that not washing your hands is disgusting! Just in case any of you are going to say something like, well I doubt you wash your hands all the time! Well you'd be wrong... terribly wrong.
