You know how there's cram school in Japan right? It's a place where students go after school to do more school-like stuff. I think it's like a place where the kids go to study more! I think that's what cram school is... if I'm wrong please let me know so that I can know for future reference. Anyways the reason why I bring this up is because I go to cram school as well. Except it's not really in a building... nor is it everyday. And it isn't after school either. In fact it's on the bus, train and walk towards my school. Also it only happens on the morning before a test. Haha! Pretty much I do most of my studying for tests in my classes the morning of the test! I'm sure it's not a very good idea and I should really stop doing it. I think today will be the last time... hopefully.
The reason why I bring up this is because I hate doing it. Whenever I'm on the bus or the train going to school people give me the strangest looks. I don't know why though. What could they possibly be thinking. I'm pretty sure it's not the first time they'll ever see a student studying for anything on the bus or train. Also I kinda feel like an idiot, because of the fact that I like to use past assignments as studying material because most of the stuff that I need to study is memorization type stuff. So I read the assignments because most of the time, the tests have very similar questions. Moving on, the reason I don't like this is because my teacher likes to put in big letters the mark we get on the front page. So when I'm studying the first page, it almost looks like I'm admiring my own mark or maybe even though of as looking at someone else's assignment.
I have to admit, it kinda bothers me... the looks I get.
Oh and before I forget! The walk to school! It's a DISASTER! Because I'm trying to read the study material.. I sorta don't pay much attention to my surroundings... I still notice the important things like people and motor vehicles. However, what I don't notice is potholes, curbs posts... basically anything that could be considered as an obstacle. So instead of normally avoiding it and getting to school safetly, I run right into the obstacle or fall because there's no ground where I expect there to be ground. It doesn't help that there's construction going on and the like to leave signs and such all over the place and there's many potholes that they repair and make... I'm lucky nothing too serious has happened yet.... So I think I might stop this last minute stuyding on my way to school.
